Mural of the Fishermen's Quarter

The most recent urban art work in Nazaré, located on the supporting wall of the access stairs to Bairro dos Pescadores, on the side of the town's Municipal Market, is dedicated to the Nazarene women and to their role in different areas of local society throughout the years.

Topa Topera, artistic name of the Nazarene Tiago Estrelinha, is the author of this street art manifestation, which aims to convey “through the expression of the look and aspects related to the traditional costume, such as the scarf, the importance of women in the Nazarene society”.
