The Mário Botas Prize Painting Biennial exhibition will open next Saturday, October 4th, at 3:30 pm, at the Nazaré Cultural Center. The date for the awards announcement will be announced in due course by the organizers.

The Nazaré Painting Biennial establishes the Mário Botas Prize, a tribute to the Nazaré-born painter whose work is widely recognized in the national art scene. The objective of the prize and the biennial is to value, promote, and encourage artistic creation in painting, promoting a space for recognition open to Portuguese and international artists.
