Carnival Exhibition "É lance de muit' pêxe"

The Nazaré Carnival 2026 exhibition, entitled "É lance de muit' pêxe", will open on January 24th at 3:30 PM and will present a portrait of the Nazaré Carnival experience.

The exhibition showcases this festival through photographs of groups, people, dances, and games, as well as videos, costumes, and various identifying elements of this tradition, highlighting how the community prepares for and intensely experiences Carnival, emphasizing its unique identity and popular character.

The opening of the exhibition will be marked by an entertainment program reflecting the main characteristics of the Nazaré Carnival, such as: a Carnival dance with the band 25ª Hora; a performance by Atelier de Danças do Rancho Tá-Mar da Nazaré; and Carnival games and "Cegadas".

As part of the exhibition, two talks will also be held:

• January 30th, at 9:30 PM, "Faz-me uma marcha" - Letristas das Marchas;
• February 6th, at 9:30 PM, "Fiz de uma lata meu bombo pra bater" - Bandas Infernais.
