Rua Combatentes do Ultramar, 2450-060 Nazaré
The construction of this temple dates back to the 16th century.
Around the chapel we could find a small churchyard, which also functioned as a cemetery that disappeared a long time ago.
It is now a simple chapel with 16th century features, although it has been altered by works in later centuries that have left their marks.
Of its old architectural character we can observe the porch over the entry. It has a single nave that was once lined with 17th century tiles, documenting the reform undergone in those times.
Presently this chapel is mainly used by the time of the Procession of Our Lord of the Stations of the Cross, which takes place three weeks after Carnival.
Classified as a Public Interest Monument, it is an architectural piece that is important to respect and preserve.
