Traditional Boats of Nazaré

Since the summer of 2015, “Mimosa” - boat of the Valenciana net system; “Nossa Senhora dos Aflitos” - lifeboat; “Perdido” - Xávega art boat; “Vagos” - candil boat accompanied by the auxiliary motorboat “Ilda”; later joined by the vessels “Três Irmãos Leais” and “Sol da Vida”, and even more recently the candil boat “Amor de Filhos”, make up the Exhibition of Traditional Boats of Nazaré.

On the beach, in front of the Cultural Centre, and next to the Sun-dried Fish Museum – “Drying Ground”, these boats recall the daily bustle of the fishing activity that once gave life to this place, thus allowing you to know some of its most emblematic boats.
