Paul Girol Municipal Gallery

Situated in the Municipal Library building, the Paul Girol Municipal Gallery has an interior area of 101m2, and excellent display conditions for artwork.

This space functions as a response to the needs in the cultural area; and the choice of the name of the French painter for the Gallery is due to the fact that he took the name of Nazaré outside Portugal.

In the 1970s, Paul Girol exhibited at Nazaré, the fishing village he fell in love with and would become, through his work, one of her most famous ambassadors abroad.
