Praia do Salgado

Protected by the Serra da Pescaria (to the north) and the Serra dos Mangues (to the south), in the parish of Famalicão, Salgado Beach presents a vast and peaceful sandy beach, rough sea, being an ideal place for walking, for lovers of sport fishing and also for the practice of paragliding and hang gliding, thus being a popular destination for those who enjoy tranquillity.

Away from the centre of the village, the main access to Praia do Salgado is made by car.

Very close to the beach there is a small public car park, free of charge.

The beach area located further north from the car park, and starting next to a large dune, is referred to as a naturist beach.
