Dr. Joaquim Manso Museum (Nazaré Museum)

This is a Museum of regional characteristics with very heterogeneous collections (ethnography, archaeology, painting, sculpture, photography and others) and temporary exhibitions.

It was inaugurated on June 6th, 1976, and it is located in a summerhouse of the beginning of the 20th century.

The present museum itinerary puts in evidence mainly the maritime ethnography, through the exhibition of several types of local fishing boats and traditional costumes.

Archaeology, the history of the town and the cult of the Virgin Mary are also always present.
